Staying at Ebony & Ivory Beach Bungalows was a pleasant experience. The location was convenient, situated right in front of the Nungwi beach. Our room, although part of a union hotel connected to Ebony & Ivory, was comfortable with a spacious double bed and essential amenities like a fan and air conditioning.The beach was ideal for swimming, and during low tide, exploring the coral reef was fascinating. Laura, the owner, was incredibly hospitable, arranging affordable activities and providing discounts for local restaurants. The slow Wi-Fi was a minor inconvenience, but understandable in the African context.The bungalows were clean, offering a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. The daily room cleaning, free breakfast, and proximity to shops and restaurants added value to the stay. Laura's attention to detail and willingness to assist with cultural insights enhanced the overall experience.While Ebony & Ivory Beach Bungalows may not be the epitome of luxury, the combination of affordable rates, attentive service, and prime beachfront location make it a practical choice for a relaxing getaway in Zanzibar.
